Why only two?

We were delighted to read that Dame Elizabeth Butler-Sloss (Ann Havers c.75), first woman President of the Family Division of the High Court, and Rosalind Savill (c.113), Director of the Wallace Collection, were among 180 distinguished and high-achieving women to be invited to have lunch with the Queen at Buckingham Palace in March.

But why only two Wycombe Abbey Seniors on the guest list?

Perhaps there wasn't room for more, but to make sure that no one is overlooked next time we invite you to nominate possible candidates. Just send us their names and say why you think they should be on the list. Heroism, as well as professional distinction counts; so does pioneering social work.
